To create the best opportunity for your listing to get shortlisted and booked more often, it is critical to ensure you have professional or very high quality images, and a minimum of 30 will ensure you get more traction when clients are searching.

Much like AirBnb or Booking.com site, the best way for a producers to find the best location for their brief is via a great quality deep and rich image gallery.

Here are some helpful tips to enable us to publish your listing on our platform and assist you in obtaining a higher chance of your property being booked by our hirer community.

Getting your spaces ready to shoot:

Think of how you would showcase your property as if you were putting it on the market to sell. This is the bright and clear quality of images that we require.

  • Photographs need to be taken in good, natural light. We cannot accept images captured in low light or at night as these will look too dark on our platform and deter hirers from booking your space. Daylight and bright light is essential.

  • De clutter; neat and tidy is the best! So before shooting your images, have a think about what you don't want people to see:

  • Current images of the property are required. Photographs need to reflect how the property is currently styled with fixtures, furniture and furnishings.

Please make sure your property is FREE of the following prior to capturing your images:

  • Clutter

  • People & Pets

  • Personal items, tissue boxes etc

  • Pets, pet bowls, pet toys and pet bedding

  • Unmade beds

  • Towels on floors

  • Cords etc across floors

  • Minimal is always best

Style of Images Required

Images are to be captured in landscape orientation - Landscape orientation is horizontal, while portrait orientation is vertical (if using a smartphone you will need to turn your phone sideways) and with a steady hand and good natural daylight. If you are using a smartphone, please make sure your setting is NOT on live and do not use effects, wide angle or panoramic settings. Remember to clean your lens prior to commencing! Please do not add any filters to your images.

Photographic Pro-Tips

Bright, natural light is essential. Wide shots are the best, in landscape orientation, not portrait orientation. It is important to take the widest photos you can of all your spaces, including laundries, bathrooms and kitchens and taken from two or three corners of the room. Hirers need to see the full space. You can also include some artistic closeups of special details, however we do also need the wider room shots so a production team can ascertain if the space is suitable for their needs.
