Logistics are the details that enable a smooth production / event based on usage and areas that either support or restrict the needs of a production. There are many considerations when it comes to the space and how it can be used.

Here are the main Logistics questions you will get asked when considering a large scale production:

  • Size/ scale of space- how many cast crew/ people can be on the location at any one time. Crews can range from 10 - 500 depending on the style and size of production.

  • Storage for equipment

  • Access/ parking - is it near a school or park, shopping strip?

  • Parking for trucks, base unit

  • Three phase power

  • Water access

  • Hi Speed Wifi

  • Noise restrictions- rail/ road/ air traffic issues / restrictions

  • Permits for the area and restrictions with council, noise, neighbours

  • Traffic Control

  • Lighting/ natural light/ hanging/ overhanging obstructions to light

  • Roadworks / building works

  • Additional amenities like bathrooms / showers for crew

  • Test kitchen/ catering areas

  • Additional buildings for crew services/ storage/ parking
