JPEG's

File Format: JPEG files are required on all listings. If you have taken your photographs using a smartphone, make sure they have NOT been taken in LIVE format as this will give you an HEIC not JPEG format and our platform cannot accept HEIC files.

File Size: high quality images required. Images must be over 1MB and under 10MB.

If your images are too large you can compress them using an online tool such as the Squoosh browser application.

Squoosh is a website that helps you compress and resize images to make them smaller in file size. Here's how it works in simple terms:

  1. Upload an Image: You start by uploading an image from your computer to the Squoosh website.

  2. Adjust Settings: You can then adjust various settings, like changing the quality, resizing the dimensions, and choosing different compression formats (like JPEG or PNG).

  3. Preview Changes: As you make adjustments, Squoosh shows you a side-by-side comparison of the original image and the compressed image so you can see the differences.

  4. Download the Compressed Image: Once you're happy with the changes, you can download the compressed image to your computer.

The main goal is to reduce the file size of your images while maintaining as much quality as possible.

Landscape Orientation: preferred over Portrait Orientation please as landscape is more aesthetically appealing and compatible with the display on our platform.

Composition: Please take photographs on the 'regular' setting, not wide lens, panoramic etc. Ensure images are not blurry. Please be sure to clean your lens prior to photographing. All photos must be light and bright.

Please read our Photography Checklist prior to capturing and uploading your images.
